Fantasy gaming co HalaPlay raises Rs.9-Cr from Milan Ganatra
Bengaluru-based fantasy gaming startup HalaPlay has raised INR 9 crore from Milan Ganatra Ventures in return for a 6.5% stake. With this investment, Milan Ganatra, founder and former CEO of Miles Software, marks his entry into India's online gaming ecosystem. HalaPlay, a Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) platform, is a subsidiary of publicly listed Nazara Technologies. Ganatra will be a mentor to the HalaPlay team. Prior to this, HalaPlay raised an undisclosed seed round in November 2017 and INR 40 crore Series A round in December 2018.
