Fashion & lifestyle brand Theater raises Rs.56-Cr in Series A led by Niveshaay
Bengaluru-based fashion and lifestyle brand Theater has raised INR 56.25 crore (USD 6 million) in a Series A funding round led by Niveshaay, with participation from FirstPort Capital, Skagen Ventures, Saket Agarwal, Vishal Julka, and IPV International. Following this transaction, the company is valued at approximately INR 402 crore (USD 48 million).Founded in 2021 by Sarthak Aggarwal, Karan Jain, Vikram Jain, and Shruti Agarwal, Theater is a digital-first fashion and lifestyle brand offering shoes, bags, stockings, socks, perfumes and other accessories for men and women.The company plans to use the new funds to expand its business, address working capital requirements, strengthen its balance sheet, and support growth.
In May 2024, Theater.xyz had attracted about USD 1.50 M from OTP Ventures, Prath Ventures, and others.For FY25, Theater.xyz had reported about INR 33 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 3 Cr in Net Loss.
