Feminine hygiene brand Plush raises Rs.31-Cr
Chennai-based feminine hygiene brand Plush has raised INR 30.56 crore (USD 3.6 million) through an issue of 4,099 Series B preference shares. Post-allotment, the company is valued at INR 281 crore (USD 33 million).The round was led by angel investor Ajay Kumar Aggarwal (INR 6 crore), with participation from Careernet Technologies (INR 5 crore), OTP Ventures (INR 3 crore), Blume Ventures (INR 4 crore), Rahul Garg, Sumit Jalan, Blue Ashva Varenya Fund, Rahul Kayan and others.Post-allotment, Ajay Kumar, Careernet Technologies and Blume Ventures will hold 19.64%, 16.37%, and 13.08% stake in the company respectively.Co-founded in 2018 by Ketan Munoth and Prince Kapoor, Plush sells products in period care, hair removal and intimate wellness categories across 500 retail stores.
In Mar-19, plush had attracted about USD 1-M from RAAY Global Investments, others.For FY24, Plush had reported about INR 28.87 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 4.39 Cr in Net Loss.
