Fertility centre chain Iswarya raises Rs.350-Cr from OrbiMed Asia
Chennai-based Iswarya Fertility Center has raised INR 350 crore (USD 37 million) in a growth investment from OrbiMed Asia. Veda Corporate Advisors were the exclusive advisors to the company and its shareholders.Founded in 1986 by husband-and-wife duo Dr. K. Veluswamy and Dr. S. Chandralekha, Iswarya operates a network of 85+ fertility centers across eight states. It provides a range of services, including IVF, IUI, fertility preservation, genetics, and advanced reproductive treatments.The company plans to use the new funds to set up new centers in existing and new markets, strengthen clinical infrastructure, expand its talent pipeline and invest in digital capabilities.
