Fintech co. Kaleidofin raises $13.8 M led by Holland’s Rabo Partnerships
Chennai-based fintech firm Kaleido Fin has raised USD 13.8 million in a funding round led by Dutch company Rabo Partnerships BV, a subsidiary of Rabobank, which put in USD 11 million. The round also saw participation from the firm’s existing investors Michael & Susan Dell Foundation (MSDF), Oikocredit, Omidyar Network India, and Flourish Ventures.Kaleidofin provides financial solutions for low-income customers and businesses in the informal economy. Founded in 2017, it claims to have facilitated loan disbursal of more than USD 2.7 Billion for 4.7 million customers and enterprises in the informal economy. The new investment will enable the company to give agriculture loans.
Between Mar 2018 and Apr 2022, Kaleidofin had raised over USD 24.89 M from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, MSDF, Omidyar Network India, Oikocredit, Blume Ventures, Bharat Fund, Flourish Ventures and Others.
