Fintech co. Oxyzo to acquire debt investment enabler GoldenPi for Rs.42-Cr

Gurugram-based fintech unicorn Oxyzo is to acquire Bengaluru-based debt investment and bond distribution platform GoldenPi Technologies and its subsidiary, GoldenPi Securities, in a share-swap transaction valued at Rs.42.4-Cr (USD 4.4 million).Oxyzo will issue 3.11 lakh equity shares on a preferential basis to GoldenPi founders Abhijit Roy and Samir Baran Pratihar, as well as investor Rainmatter Investments. The allocated shares include 1.15 lakh shares for Abhijit Roy, 1.14 lakh for Samir Baran Pratihar, 53,422 for Rainmatter Capital, and 29,353 for Utpal Hemendra Sheth.Founded in 2017, GoldenPi operates as a fixed-income investment platform and houses a debt broker. The platform hosts a network of over 1.6 million users who have invested more than INR 6,000 Cr in bonds and debentures since its inception.Oxyzo is an RBI-registered, tech-driven non-banking financial company (NBFC) that provides customised credit and financing solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and emerging corporates.

Between Mar 2018 and Apr 2019, GoldenPi had attracted about $ 0.5 M from Rainmatter Capital.For FY25, GoldenPi had reported about INR 3 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 2 Cr in Net Loss.
