Fintech firm Groww’s founders plan Rs.500-Cr fund for consumer and deep-tech cos

The co-founders of Bengaluru-based financial services firm Groww , including Chief Executive Officer Lalit Keshre, Chief Financial Officer Ishan Bansal, Chief Operating Officer Harsh Jain, and Chief Technology Officer Neeraj Singh, are in the process of establishing a seed and early-stage fund with a corpus of INR 400-500 Cr. The founders will act as general partners and utilize their personal capital for the fund.The fund intends to focus on backing companies in the consumer internet and deep-tech sectors. A dedicated investment team is expected to manage the firm’s deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management processes under the supervision of the founders.
