Fintech startup Bachatt bags $4-M from Lightspeed, Info Edge Ventures
Delhi-based fintech startup Bachatt has raised USD 4 million (around INR 34 crore) in a seed funding round led by Lightspeed (USD 2.8 million) and Info Edge Ventures (USD 1 million).The round also saw participation from Abhiraj Bhal (co-founder, Urban Company), Sunil Prabhune (L&T Finance), Abhinav Sinha (COO, Oyo), and Maninder Gulati (CSO, Oyo). The fresh funds will be used for the full-fledged launch of the firm's daily saving app, which is currently in Beta mode.Founded in November 2024 by Anugrah Jain (ex-BCG partner), Ankur Jhavery (ex-OYO) and Mayank Agarwal (ex-Urban Company), Bachatt provides financial services solutions focussed on the self-employed. It currently lets users do daily SIP (systematic investment planning) through a mobile application.
