Fintech startup CredAvenue raises $137-M from Insight Partners, others; turns unicorn
Chennai-based debt marketplace CredAvenue has joined the unicorn club with a Series B funding of USD 137 million led by US-based global PE-VC firm Insight Partners, B Capital Group, and Dragoneer, with participation from existing investors. Its post-money valuation has grown to USD 1.3 billion, making it a unicorn. CredAvenue intends to use the funds to expand the business in India as well as in key global markets.
