Fireside Ventures closes Fund IV with $253-M
Bangalore-based direct-to-consumer (D2C) focussed Fireside Ventures has closed its fund IV at USD 253 million (approx. INR 2,265 crore). The fund had secured commitments from a mix of global and domestic investors, including US University Endowments, Sovereign funds from Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as well as financial institutions like HarbourVest, Waterfield, and Fidelity International. A host of consumer-focused corporations like Sharrp Ventures, Mirabilis, and Emami Limited also participated.Fireside will utilize Fund IV to invest in 10-12 consumer brands at seed and Series A stages.
