Fish farming player Growel Formulations invests in poultry healthcare co. Provet Pharma
Hyderabad-based aqua healthcare and nutrition player Growel Formulations has made a strategic investment in Chennai-based poultry healthcare company Provet Pharma . Two early investors in Provet have exited as a part of this transaction. Veda Corporate Advisors advised Provet on this transaction. Deloitte India Corporate Finance was the buy-side advisor to Growel Formulations.Founded in 2009 by veterinary professionals, Dr. V. Muthu Selvan and Dr. S. Senthil, Provet Pharma manufactures and markets feed additives/supplements and drugs for poultry, livestock and aquaculture segments in India and exports them under its own brands.
In Mar 2022, Provet Pharma had raised debt funding from N+1 Capital.For FY25, Provet Pharma had reported about INR 100 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 1 Cr in PAT.
