Fleet mgmt co. Everest raises addnl $20-M from ride hailer Uber India

Global ride-hailing firm Uber India has invested an additional USD 20 million (INR 177.5 crore) in Mumbai-based shared mobility and fleet management company Everest Fleet . Following this investment, Uber India's stake in Everest Fleet will be about 15.62%, while founder Siddharth Anand Ladsariya will retain a 49.54% stake.Founded in 2016 by Siddharth Anand Ladsariya, Everest operates and manages a cab fleet for ride-hailing platforms, including Uber and Ola. The company manages over 18,500 CNG, EV, and goods vehicles across cities, providing mobility and logistics services.The fresh funds raised will be used for working capital needs, capital expenditure, and the expansion of operations.

Between Sep 2019 and Sep 2024, Everest Fleet had attracted about USD 73 M from Uber, Paragon Partners, Spark Capital, Valiant Capital, Artha India Ventures and others.
