Fmr Unacademy COO Vivek Sinha gets $11-M for edtech venture from Lightspeed, others

Edtech unicorn Unacademy's former chief operating officer (COO) Vivek Sinha has raised USD 11 million (around INR 91 crore) for his Bengaluru-based edtech startup in an ongoing funding round. The round saw participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Matrix Partners India, angel investors like Oyo group CEO and founder Ritesh Agarwal and Unacademy CEO and co-founder Gaurav Munjal. The startup is likely to focus on upskilling, providing support to the healthcare industry. The parent entity was registered in September under the name Beyond Odds.
