Former Solethreads CEO Sumant Kakaria joins Famy Aspire Capital as partner
Sumant Kakaria, the co-founder and former CEO of Gurugram-based D2C (direct-to-consumer) footwear startup Solethreads, has joined private equity firm Famy Aspire Capital as a partner. The appointment follows the acquisition of Solethreads by Mirza International in March 2026.Famy Aspire Capital is a private equity fund backed by the Taparia family. The firm focuses on the consumer and healthcare sectors and plans to invest in high-growth consumer ventures.
