Fortis Healthcare acquires People Tree Hospitals for Rs.430-Cr

Gurugram-headquartered Fortis Healthcare Ltd has acquired Bengaluru-based People Tree Hospitals (operated by TMI Healthcare) for INR 430 crore. The transaction includes the hospital infrastructure and the land. Alvarez & Marsal acted as the exclusive financial advisor to People Tree Hospitals and its shareholders.People Tree Hospitals, founded by Dr. Upendra Kandluri and Dr. Jothi Neerja, is located in Yeshwanthpur, Northwest Bengaluru. The hospital provides services across cardiac sciences, orthopaedics, neurosciences, renal sciences, gastroenterology, and paediatrics.
Between Nov-21 and Mar-25, People Tree Hospital had attracted about USD 55.8 M from Pratithi Investments and others.For FY25, People Tree Hospital had reported about INR 102.01 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 9 Cr in Net Loss.
