Fortis Healthcare gets CCI nod to acquire addnl 32% stake in Agilus Diagnostics for Rs.1,780-Cr
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved Fortis Healthcare's (FHL) proposal to acquire an additional 31.52 % stake in Gurugram-headquartered Agilus Diagnostics . The diagnostics services business of FHL is being undertaken primarily through Agilus.In August, Fortis Healthcare announced that it will acquire a 31% stake in Agilus Diagnostics for INR 1,780 crore valuing Agilus at INR 5,700 crore.After the transaction, the shareholding of Ltd FHL in Agilus will increase from 57.68% to 89.2%.
