Fragaria Fruits raises $2-M led by WEH Ventures, Rainmatter
Bangalore-based Fragaria Fruits , which offers premium fruits under the brand Oh! Fruits, has raised USD 2 million in a seed round led by WEH Ventures and Rainmatter Capital with participation from Spiral Ventures, Perpetual Capital and angel investors, including Sashi Kumar (founder of Akshayakalpa Organic).The company was founded in 2024 by Harish Varadharajan, Timothy Chad Van Niekerk, and Damian Lopez-Salazar.The new funding will be used to scale the company's indoor vertical farming operations for strawberries and pilot blueberries and raspberries, enabling it to launch commercial production, along with strengthening its supply chain.
