Fraud prevention platform Bureau raises $30-M in Series B led by Sorenson Capital

Bengaluru- and San Francisco, CA (USA)-based identity verification and fraud protection platform Bureau has raised USD 30 million in a Series B round led by Sorenson Capital. PayPal Ventures as well as existing investors Commerce Ventures, GMO Venture Partners, Village Global, Quona Capital, and XYZ Ventures also participated in the round.The new funds will be used to enhance the company’s product portfolio, hire talent, scale go-to-market team, and expand geographical reach.Founded in 2020 by Ranjan R Reddy, Bureau's platform claims to deliver real-time, contextual fraud prevention across the entire customer lifecycle, going beyond traditional rule-based systems.

Between Aug 2020 and Jul 2023, Bureau Identity had raised about USD 21 M from Blume Ventures, Quona Capital, GMO Venture Partners, Emphasis Ventures, Village Global, XYZ Ventures and others
