Freelancing enabler for teens Funngro raises Rs.50-L from Amit Jain, Namita Thapar
Funngro, a Mumbai-based platform that provides freelancing projects for teenagers, has attracted INR 50 lakh via the Shark Tank India reality TV show in exchange for an about 4% equity. The startup received INR 25 lakh each from Amit Jain, co-founder of CarDekho Group, and Namita Thapar of Emcure Pharmaceuticals. Funngro, co-founded by Payal Jain and Anik Jain, aims to promote economic empowerment among teenagers by providing paid freelancing projects.
