Furniture rental startup Furlenco raises $140-M from Zinnia, Lightbox, others

Bengaluru-based Furlenco, a subscription-based online rental furniture rental startup, has raised USD 140 million (about INR 1,000 crore) led by Zinnia Global Fund, in a mix of debt (INR 850 crore) and equity (INR 150 crore). Existing investors Lightbox Ventures, CE-Ventures and angel investor Saket Burman also participated in this round. The company will use the funds to cater to larger audiences with more tailored solutions and new offerings, and also to expand to more cities and build its asset and subscriber base. The firm designs furniture and gives to its 15 plus vendors for contract manufacturing.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: Between Jan-15 and Jan-21, Furlenco raised over $60-M from BlackSoil Capital, Burman Family Office, Lightbox, Soma Capital, Global Founders Capital, VH Capital, CE-Ventures, Raintree Ventures, Axis Capital Partners, Kris Gopalakrishnan, InnoVen Capital, Trifecta Capital and others.
