Furniture rental startup Furlenco raises Rs.125-Cr
Bengaluru-based furniture rental startup Furlenco has raised INR 125 crore (about USD 15 million) in a funding round led by existing investor Sheela Foam, with participation from Whiteoak and Madhu Kela. Sheela Foam board had earlier agreed to invest an additional INR 30 crore in Furlenco's parent company, House of Kieraya.Founded in 2012 by Ajith Mohan Karimpana, Furlenco operates a subscription-driven furniture and appliance rental platform. The platform claims to offer over 300 SKUs (stock keeping units) across 28 cities, including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Chennai, and Kolkata.The new funds will be used to strengthen the firm’s presence in existing markets, enter new markets, and invest in product innovation, technology, and customer experience.
Between Jan 2015 and Mar 2025, Furlenco had attracted about USD 284 M from Axis Capital Partners, Lightbox, InnoVen Capital, Pratithi Investments, Trifecta Capital, CE-Ventures, Raintree Ventures, Burman Family Office, BlackSoil Capital, Zinnia Global Fund, N+1 Capital, Northern Arc Capital and others.For FY25, Furlenco had reported about INR 229 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 3 Cr in PAT.
