Gaming co. Nazara Technologies invests Rs.14.99 Cr in Rusk Media
Mumbai-based, publicly listed gaming firm Nazara Technologies Ltd has invested INR 14,98,99,176 in Delhi-based digital entertainment company Rusk Media Pvt Ltd . This investment marks an expansion into content creation for the gaming and esports ecosystem.The investment involved the subscription of 1,278 pre-Series C compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) with a face value of INR 10 each. This acquisition represents 1.36% of Rusk Media's share capital on a fully diluted basis, bringing Nazara's total holding to 7.62%, post-transaction.Founded in 2019 by Mayank Yadav, Karanvir Sofat, and Shantanu Singh, Rusk Media produces and distributes content across social and video-streaming platforms. It claims to have released more than 50 seasons across more than 20 titles spanning fiction, reality, and live formats. For FY 2024-25, Rusk Media reported a turnover of INR 81.38 crore.
Between Nov 2019 and Oct 2025, Rusk Media had attracted about USD 32 M from Info Edge, Mistry Ventures, Munjal Family Office, Sprout Venture Partners, Nazara, Audacity Ventures, KTB Ventures, LC Nueva, IvyCap Ventures and others.
