Gaming tech co ARC raises Rs.10.5 Cr led by Chimera VC and MIXI Global Investments

Bengaluru-based ARC has raised INR 10.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Chimera VC and MIXI Global Investments with participation from Dhruv Vohra (Director at Meta APAC).Founded in 2025 by Jobin Joseph and Kaustubh K. Jadhav, ARC is developing a portable gaming system named ARC X1, designed to improve accessibility to dedicated gaming hardware for Indian gamers. The firm is building its own hardware and software stack, which includes a proprietary operating system known as OWL OS. The device utilizes an ARM-based architecture powered by Qualcomm technology and is designed to support Android gaming, cloud gaming, and PC-game compatibility.The company plans to use the new funds to accelerate hardware engineering, product validation, manufacturing, and supply-chain readiness. Additionally, the capital will support the development of OWL OS and the company’s gaming software platform.
