Gene therapy-focused Cellogen Therapeutics raises Rs.20-Cr from Kotak Alts
Noida-based Cellogen Therapeutics has raised INR 20 crore in a funding round from Kotak Alternate Asset Managers (Kotak Alts) through its Kotak Life Sciences Fund I.Founded in 2021 by Gaurav Kharya and Tanveer Ahmad, the firm is engaged in cellular engineering and gene therapies such as using Chimeric Antigen Receptor T (CAR-T) cells to treat cancers and blood disorders.The company plans to use the new funds to advance its CAR-T clinical programs, expand its gene therapy pipeline, and strengthen its GMP-compliant manufacturing and regulatory capabilities.
