General Atlantic, Asia Opportunities sell 4.9% stake in PNB Housing Fin for over Rs.1,000-Cr

PE investor General Atlantic, via General Atlantic Singapore Fund FII Pte, and Asia Opportunities has sold shares constituting 4.9% stake in publicly listed PNB Housing Finance for INR 1,004 crore through an open market transaction. The shares were offloaded in the range of INR 786.46-787.88 a piece, taking the combined transaction value to INR 1,004.28 crore.Post the latest sale, the stake of General Atlantic in the company has reduced to 7.37% from 9.82% whereas for Asia Opportunities V (Mauritius), it has declined to 7.43% from 9.88%.
