General Atlantic sells 8.4% stake in pharma co. Rubicon Research for Rs.2,299-Cr
General Atlantic, via General Atlantic Singapore RR Pte Ltd, has sold an 8.4% stake in publicly listed, Mumbai-based pharmaceutical company Rubicon Research for INR 2,299 crore through multiple block deals.The investor sold 13,853,073 equity shares across the BSE and NSE on August 26.
General Atlantic first invested in Rubicon Research in Mar 2019. General Atlantic had made a partial exit in Aug 2025 and Sep 2025. It further sold shares when the company went public in Oct 2025.For FY25, Rubicon Research had reported about INR 1,074 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 168 Cr in PAT.
