General Atlantic sells IIFL Wealth shares worth Rs.564-Cr; registers 3x return

Private Equity (PE) investor General Atlantic has sold a 3.51% stake in publicly-listed IIFL Wealth Management Ltd harvesting INR 564.02 crore. Post the sale, the investor would hold a 2.33% stake in the company.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Oct 2015, General Atlantic (GA) had invested INR 1,122.34 crore for a 21.61% stake in IIFL Wealth. In Jun 2018, it invested INR 94.10 crore more. In Mar-22, GA had sold a part stake to fellow PE investor Fairfax India
