General Atlantic sells KIMS Hospital shares worth Rs.204-Cr, registers 3.23x return ChrysCapital pi
General Atlantic has sold a 2.07% stake in publicly-listed, Secunderabad-headquartered Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Ltd (KIMS Hospital) fetching INR 204.18 crore. Post the sale on September 1, GA would hold a 15.17% stake) in KIMS. Meanwhile, another PE investor - ChrysCapital - has bought a 1.96% stake in KIMS for INR 193.11 crore.
From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Jun 2018, General Atlantic had invested INR 929.16 crore for a 38.99% stake in KIMS. In May 2019, it invested an additional INR 55.60 crore for another 1.92% stake in the company.
