General Atlantic sells stake in PNB Housing Finance for over Rs.420-Cr

PE investor General Atlantic, via General Atlantic Singapore Fund FII Pte Ltd, has sold 5,800,320 equity shares (2.17% stake) at INR 727.47 per share of publicly listed PNB Housing Finance on May 29, 2024 through a bulk deal on BSE. The sale aggregates to INR 421.96 crore. Alongside, Asia Opportunities V (Mauritius) also sold 58 lakh shares in PNB Housing Finance at a similar price, taking the combined deal size to INR 843.79 crore.As of March 2024, General Atlantic Singapore Fund FII Pte Ltd had held a 9.82% stake in the company. Asia Opportunities V (Mauritius) Ltd had held a 9.88% stake.
