German investment bank IEG sets up shop in India to fund startups
Germany's investment banking firm IEG Investment Banking Group has set up its own venture arm called IEG India 12 Apostel in India to invest in local startups. The firm will look at investing USD 50 million by taking early bets in tech-focused Indian startups across sectors such as healthtech, logistics, fintech and direct-to-consumer brands.
