Gold savings app Gullak raises $7.5 M led by Chiratae Ventures

Bengaluru-based Gullak , a gold savings app, has raised USD 7.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Chiratae Ventures with participation from White Venture Capital, Samved Ventures, and existing backers Y Combinator, GMO Venture Partners and Rebel Fund.The proceeds from the fresh issue will be used to strengthen brand presence and marketing, expand reach across Tier-II and Tier-III cities, and deepen partnerships with jewellers.Since its launch in 2022, the company claims that it has helped users save more than 1,000 kg of gold using the platform.

Between Jun 2022 and Jan 2023, Gullak had raised about USD 4.3 M from Better Capital, GMO Venture Partners, Goodwater Capital, Rebel Fund, TRTL Ventures, Y Combinator Continuity Fund and others.
