Good Glamm buys majority stake in feminine hygiene products co Sirona for Rs.200-Cr

Mumbai-based Good Glamm Group, which owns the MyGlamm brand of beauty and personal care products, has acquired a majority stake in New Delhi-based feminine hygiene startup Sirona for INR 100 crore in cash. The early backers of Sirona have exited while Good Glamm has committed a further INR 100 crore (USD 13.5 million) of primary investment in the company. Over the next three years, Good Glamm plans to gain 100% control over the entity. Sirona, founded in 2014 by Deep and Mohit Bajaj, makes menstrual hygiene products, including herbal pain relief patches, degradable sanitary pads and menstrual cups. It also offers a stand-and-pee device for women called PeeBuddy.
