Gourmet pizza chain The Dough Therapy raises Rs.5.25 Cr in seed round

Mumbai-based pizza chain The Dough Therapy has raised INR 5.25 crore in a seed funding round at a valuation of INR 35 crore. The transaction was led by Michigan Capital Advisors (MCAL), with participation from Equiglobe Investment.Founded in 2020 by Abhishek Dedhia, Mohit Chheda and Gaurav Majrekar, the company operates 10 outlets across Mumbai and offers over 30 vegetarian and vegan pizza varieties.The firm plans to use the newly raised capital to support its expansion strategy, which includes growing its network to 20 outlets over the next 12 months and entering new cities. The company plans to execute its expansion through a mix of company-owned outlets, select dine-in formats, and franchise partnerships.
