Grapevine pivots to HR Tech; raises $4.1 M from Kae Capital, Peak XV, others
Bangalore-based Networking platform Grapevine has raised USD 4.1 Million (INR 37.9 Crore) from Kae Capital, Peak XV Partners and Ronnie Screwvala (Upgrad Founder).Founded by Saumil Tripathi, Jainam Talsania, and Shreeyash Dharmadhikari, Grapevine initially served as a networking platform for corporate and startup employees. It facilitated anonymous discussions on topics such as salaries, hiring, layoffs, and work culture through various communities. The fresh funds will be used by the company to expand its AI-led job discovery platform, TAL, and its AI-native interview practice app, Round1. TAL functions as an AI-powered talent agent, identifying and recommending suitable job opportunities for users, while Round1 allows users to simulate job interviews and receive feedback.
Between Apr-23 and Feb-26, Grapevine had attracted about USD 4.6 M from Peak XV Partners, Riverwalk Holdings.
