Green hydrogen tech player HydGen raises $5-M from OmVenture, others
Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup HydGen has raised USD 5 million in a funding round from OmVenture, New Science Ventures, and Thana Investments. Founded in 2023 by SRVS Rao, N. Ramaswamy, and A. Sridhar, HydGen specializes in developing cost-efficient green hydrogen technology. It offers patented catalyst-based reactor and electrolyser technology designed for high-efficiency and low-cost green hydrogen production.The company plans to use the new funds to set up a manufacturing facility in Bangalore, scale up its production capabilities, and set up pilot projects for its electrolysers.
