Gut bacteria-focused life sciences co. Iom Bioworks raises Rs.4-Cr led by IPV
Bengaluru-based deep science startup Iom Bioworks has raised INR 4 crore in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV).The new funds will be used for marketing, to secure intellectual property claims, strengthen core infrastructure and scale scientific and commercial teams.Founded in 2022 by Bipin Pradeep Kumar, Dr. Samik Ghosh, and Dr. Hiroaki Kitano, Iom Bioworks is a microbiome-based life sciences company that provides personalized healthcare solutions by identifying key bacteria in the gut with the help of artificial intelligence and data science. It has pan India logistics operations and has also established digital access for personalised microbiome services.
