Haircare brand Moxie Beauty raises $15-M led by Bessemer
Delhi-based D2C (direct-to-consumer) haircare brand Moxie has raised USD 15 million in a funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. The round also saw participation from existing investor Fireside Ventures along with existing and new angel investors Navin Parwal, Sangeet Agarwal, and Arjun Purkayastha.Founded in 2023 by Nikita Khanna and Anmol Ahlawat, Moxie sells 19 products, including shampoos, conditioners, finishing sticks, and hair wax sticks. The company plans forays into salon partnerships, modern trade, and specialty cosmetics stores over the next six months. Moxie claims to have crossed INR 100 crore in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) by November and to have quadrupled its monthly revenue over the past year.The company plans to deploy most of the new capital towards research and development. A portion of the funding will also be used to scale its team and expand distribution, particularly across modern trade and quick commerce platforms. The remaining capital would be allocated towards working capital requirements.
Between Apr 2023 and Jul 2024, Moxie Beauty had attracted about USD 3 M from Fireside Ventures, Amplify Partners, OTP Ventures and others.
