Haircare platform Traya raises $2.2 M from Fireside Ventures, Kae Capital, Whiteboard Capital

Mumbai-based haircare platform Traya has raised USD 2.2 million as a part of its pre-Series A funding led by Fireside Ventures. The round also saw participation from existing investors Kae Capital and Whiteboard Capital. Fireside Ventures' Partner VS Kannan Sitaram will be joining the company's board. Traya will use the fresh capital to strengthen its research and development platform, develop technology to personalise the hair growth experience, hire talent and expand the brand's footprint. It clams to have handled more than 1,00,000 cases last year.
