HDFC Capital exits Rs.1,100-Cr investment in Adarsh Developers with 20% IRR

HDFC Capital Advisors, the private equity arm of HDFC Bank, has completed its second exit from Bengaluru-based Adarsh Developers , involving an investment of INR 1,100 crore.This exit forms part of HDFC Capital's total commitment of INR 2,500 crore across four investments with the developer. The first investment of INR 395 crore was exited in Q2 2024 at a gross internal rate of return (IRR) of 21%, while the second investment has yielded a gross IRR of 20%.The platform, established in 2022, was designed to develop 17 mid-income residential projects, totalling 10,000 units spread across 15 million square feet in Bengaluru suburbs Bellandur, Gunjur, Hennur, JP Nagar, and Banashankari.
