HDFC Capital fund sells stake in realtor Arvind SmartSpaces for Rs.41-Cr
HDFC Capital Advisors, via HDFC Capital Affordable Real Estate Fund - 1, has sold a 1.8% equity stake in Ahmedabad-based Arvind SmartSpaces for about INR 41 crore. The shares were acquired by Pirojsha Adi Godrej, who purchased around 8.2 lakh shares at an average price of INR 498 per share. As of December 2025, the HDFC Capital fund held an 8.8% stake in Arvind SmartSpaces.Arvind SmartSpaces, a real estate developer, is a part of the Lalbhai Group and develops residential, industrial, and retail projects, focusing on luxury villas, apartments, and plotted developments. Founded in 2008, it operates primarily in Gujarat and Karnataka.
Between Oct 2019 and Aug 2022, Arvind SmartSpaces had attracted about USD 122 M from HDFC Capital Advisors.
