Health fintech startup Care.fi raises $8-M
Gurugram-based healthcare-focused fintech platform Care.fi has raised USD 8 million in an equity-debt funding round. The equity component of USD 5 million was led by July Ventures, with participation from Peak XV Partners, Accion Venture Lab, and Sadev Ventures. The remaining USD 3 million in debt was provided by Trifecta Capital and Vivriti.Founded in 2021 by Vikrant Agrawal and Sidak Singh, Care.fi assists hospitals with documentation, coding, insurance claims processing, and collection through its AI-powered infrastructure and currently operates in.five cities.The new funds will be used to expand its operations into new cities such as Jaipur, Lucknow, and Chandigarh, develop its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered healthcare operating system, and support international expansion in the US and the Middle East.
Between Feb-23 and Apr-25, Care.Fi had attracted about USD 8 M from Kettleborough VC, Peak XV Partners, Stride Ventures, Trifecta Capital, UC Inclusive Credit, Caspian Advisors, and others.
