Health-tech co. Gabit raises funding from actor Ranbir Kapoor, musician Badshah, others
Health-tech startup Gabit has raised investment from actor Ranbir Kapoor and musician Badshah in a funding round which also saw participation from other angel investors.Founded in 2022 by ex-Zomato co-founder Gaurav Gupta and ex-SkillTap founder Aparna Shahi, the firm’s flagship product, Gabit Smart Ring, tracks key health metrics such as sleep, fitness, nutrition, and stress. Besides, it also offers a companion app that provides AI-driven insights, personalised fitness routines, nutrition plans, and habit coaching, positioning the product as a one-stop wellness platform.The startup netted USD 9.5 million in its seed round in 2023 from Norwest Venture Partners, Eternal founder Deepinder Goyal and CRED founder Kunal Shah.
