Health-tech co. Mykare raises addnl $1-M to close bridge round at $3.2 M
Kochi-based health-tech firm Mykare has raised an additional USD 1 million in a bridge round from the co-founders of US-based health-tech company Papa.com and a Middle Eastern family office. This transaction brings the total raised by the company in the round to USD 3.2 million.Founded in 2021 by Senu Sam, Rahmatulla TM, and Joash Philipose, Mykare connects patients with a network of hospitals that are claimed to offer affordable facilities. It is also building an AI-native healthcare operating system that enables clinics and hospitals to automate the patient journey, including patient acquisition, appointment booking, feedback, and retention.The new funds will be used to enhance its AI capabilities, accelerate product development, and expand deeper into existing international markets.
In Apr 2023, Mykare Health had attracted about $2-M from Avaana Capital, Endurance Capital, Huddle Ventures and others.
