Healthcare-focused edtech platform Virohan to raise pre-Series B round

Gurugram-based Virohan , a healthcare edtech startup is to raise INR 25.7 crore (approx. USD 3 million) in an ongoing pre-Series B round led by Blume Ventures along with existing investors Bharat Inclusive Technologies and Japan-based Rebright Partners.Blume Ventures will invest INR 15 crore with Bharat Inclusive Technologies investing INR 5.7 crore and Rebright with INR 5 crore. The company will issue pre-Series B3 CCPS at an issue price of INR 1,44,072 each.Founded in 2018, Virohan provides vocational training to students aiming to build careers in the healthcare sector. The company delivers its programs through hybrid classrooms on campuses and online platforms across India in cities including Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Pune, Jaipur, Mumbai, Nagpur among others.

Between Aug 2019 and Dec 2023, Virohan had attracted about USD 12 M from Bharat Innovation Fund, Blume Ventures, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Venture Capital, Suneight Investment, Rebright Partners.For FY24, Virohan had reported about INR 21 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 22 Cr in Net Loss.
