Healthcare-focused PE firm Somerset Indus raises $250-M for third fund

Mumbai-based healthcare-focused private equity firm Somerset Indus has raised USD 250 million for its third fund. It has started deploying capital from the fund, having invested in Cyrix Healthcare and Printmann Offset in December 2024. The fund size can go up to USD 275 million, with a green shoe option of 10%.Founded in 2011 by Avinash Kenkare and Mayur Sirdesai, Somerset Indus Capital Partners backs healthcare businesses with a focus on minority positions by providing growth equity with ticket sizes ranging from USD 15 million to USD 30 million.
