Healthtech platform August AI raises $3-M from Accel and Claypond Capital
Bengaluru-based healthtech startup August AI has raised USD 3 million from Accel India and Claypond Capital (family office of Rajan Pai).Founded in 2022 by Anuruddh Mishra, August AI provides a conversational artificial intelligence chatbot that helps users manage their healthcare journeys from understanding symptoms and interpreting medical reports to tracking treatments and medicationsThe fresh funds will be used by the company to strengthen product development, expand the platform’s medical knowledge base, and accelerate customer acquisition. It also plans to scale its data infrastructure, improve model accuracy, and enhance the user experience across multiple regions and languages as part of its global expansion strategy.
