Healthtech startup Coral raises $12.5-M from Z47 and Lightspeed
New York, USA- and India-based Coral has raised USD 12.5 million from Z47 and Lightspeed.Founded in 2024 by IIT Hyderabad alumni Ajay Shrihari and Aniket Mohanty, who were previously founding engineers at LimeChat, Coral automates back-office workflows. Coral's platform integrates with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and payer portals to manage patient intake, prior authorizations, and insurance verification. It initially launched in the durable medical equipment sector and has expanded into infusion centers and specialty pharmacies.The company plans to use the new funds to scale its engineering team and hire domain experts in healthcare operations.
