Hillhouse Investment acquires minority stake in engg services co. Quest Global
Singapore-based Hillhouse Investment has acquired a minority stake in Quest Global , a Belagavi and Singapore-based engineering services company, through a mix of primary and secondary share purchases. Jefferies served as the exclusive financial advisor to Quest Global on the transaction.Founded in 1997 by Ajit Prabhu and Aravind Melligeri, Quest Global operates in more than 18 countries, including India, with over 93 global delivery centers. The company serves sectors such as aerospace & defence, automotive, energy, hi-tech, med-tech & healthcare, rail, and semiconductors.Quest Global, which is backed by Carlyle Group, plans to use the additional capital to further invest in advanced engineering capabilities.
Between May 2003 and Aug 2023, Quest Global had attracted about USD 1079 M from Carlyle, Advent International, ChrysCapital, TrueNorth, Bain Capital, GIC, Warburg Pincus, and others.
