Home appliances maker Atomberg’s B2B engg arm to raise Rs.200-Cr led by General Catalyst
The B2B (business-to-business) engineering arm of Mumbai-based Atomberg Technologies looks to raise between INR 150-Cr and INR 200-Cr in a funding round led by General Catalyst. The transaction is set to value the business at between INR 1,500-Cr and INR 1,700-Cr. Mirae Asset Management is considering participating in the round.The B2B engineering arm of Atomberg develops motors and components for appliance manufacturers. The company is considering spinning off this unit into a standalone entity, with existing investors in Atomberg holding proportional stakes in the engineering arm, alongside General Catalyst and other incoming investors.Atomberg is simultaneously preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) aimed at raising approximately INR 2,000-Cr. This public issue will consist of fresh shares alongside an offer for sale by existing shareholders.
Between May 2016 and Oct 2025, Atomberg Technologies had attracted about $ 167 M from Trifecta Capital, Inflexor Ventures, Temasek, Jungle Ventures, A91 Partners, Others.For FY25, Atomberg Technologies had reported about INR 958 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 117 Cr in Net Loss.
