Home care products seller Beco raises $10-M led by Tanglin

Mumbai-based home and personal care brand Beco has raised USD 10 million in pre-Series B round led by Tanglin Venture Partners. The round also saw participation from Titan Capital Winners Fund, Manish Choksi (Asian Paints promoter), existing investor Rukam Capital and Synergy Capital.Founded in 2019 by Akshay Varma and Anuj Ruia, Beco sells plant-based and naturally sourced home and personal care products, including laundry liquids, floor cleaners, dishwashing liquids and gels, tissue papers, toilet rolls, napkins, kitchen towels and compostable garbage bags. The firm’s products are claimed to be present in over 10,000 retail stores in more than 20 cities in India.The fresh funds will be used to boost production capacity, invest in research and development, strengthen offline sales infrastructure and raise brand awareness.
